28-Day Porta Potty Billing, Explained
The single most confusing thing on our recorded calls wasn't price — it was the 28-day billing cycle. Here's exactly how it works.

Why bill every 28 days instead of monthly?
Porta potties are billed every 28 days because service runs weekly, and 28 days is exactly four weekly visits. Every cycle has the same number of services, so every cycle costs the same. That means 13 billing cycles a year instead of 12 months.
Why is the first cycle more expensive?
The first 28-day cycle includes the one-time delivery charge. From the second cycle on, you pay only the rental rate. In Victoria, that's $199 plus $49 delivery for cycle one, then $199 for each cycle after.
Do I get a refund if I return it early?
No. 28-day cycles aren't prorated. If your job will last three days or less, book an event rental instead, which covers up to three days. For a job of a week or two, a single 28-day cycle is still cheaper than weekly rentals because it includes cleaning.
How do I stop billing?
Billing stops only when you request pickup. Call, text or email, and billing ends at the end of the current cycle. Long-term units are never picked up automatically, so a forgotten unit keeps billing — set a reminder for your job's end date.
Worked example: a six-week bathroom remodel
A six-week bathroom remodel spans two 28-day cycles. In Victoria that is $199 plus $49 delivery for cycle one and $199 for cycle two, for $447 plus tax, with eight weekly service visits included. Calling for pickup in week six stops billing after cycle two.
| Cycle | Days | Charge | Services |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | 1–28 | $199 + $49 delivery | 4 |
| 2 | 29–56 | $199 | 4 |
| Total | 56 | $447 + tax | 8 |
