How many restrooms do I need for my wedding?
A wedding needs one porta potty unit per 50 guests for four hours, one more per 100 guests for longer receptions, and one more per 100 guests with a bar. A 150-guest, five-hour reception with a bar needs 7 units — one two-stall trailer (counts as 4) plus 3 deluxe units.
| Guests | Units (≈5 hrs, bar) | Recommended |
|---|---|---|
| 50 | 3 | 3 deluxe units, or 1 two-stall trailer |
| 100 | 4 | 1 two-stall trailer, or 4 deluxe units |
| 150 | 7 | 2-stall trailer + 3 deluxe |
| 200 | 8 | 3–4 stall trailer + 1–2 deluxe |
| 250 | 11 | 5-stall trailer + 1 deluxe |
Where should wedding restrooms go?
Place wedding restrooms 50 to 150 feet from the reception, on level ground, near a path with lighting, and downwind of dinner. Restroom trailers also need a 110-volt outlet or generator within about 100 feet and a garden hose.

What wedding renters asked on our calls
Of the 173 rental calls we reviewed, weddings and bridal events were a small share but the most detailed: couples asked for photos before booking, whether stalls are labeled men and women, and whether a 140-guest reception fits a two-stall trailer. A two-stall trailer fits about 100 guests with a bar, or 150 without, for five hours.
How much do wedding restrooms cost?
Wedding restrooms near Victoria start at $385 per deluxe flushing unit, $695 for a VIP flushing cabin and about $1,500 for a two-stall restroom trailer for one day. Delivery, setup and pickup are included in Victoria; travel to rural venues adds a delivery line.
| Option | From |

| 2-stall restroom trailer | ≈ $1,500 |
| Wheelchair-accessible unit | $349 |
