How many porta potties does a festival need?
A festival needs about one porta potty per 100 attendees per four hours of peak crowd, adjusted up for alcohol and heat, with at least 5% of each cluster accessible. A one-day, 2,000-person event with beer needs roughly 24 standard units, 2 accessible units and 6 hand-wash stations.
| Peak attendance | Standard units (alcohol, ~6 hrs) | Accessible (5%/cluster) | Hand-wash |
|---|---|---|---|
| 500 | 6–8 | 1 | 2 |
| 1,000 | 12–14 | 1–2 | 3–4 |
| 2,000 | 22–26 | 2 | 6 |
| 5,000 | 55–60 | 3–4 | 12–15 |
What do Victoria event permits require?
City of Victoria special events need a permit from Parks & Recreation at least 90 days ahead, with a $500 damage deposit and facility fees; the application says to be prepared to rent portable toilets. Street closures need sign-off from the Parks Director and Police Chief.

How is festival pricing figured?
Festival pricing starts from the event price per unit — $249 standard, $349 accessible, $180 hand-wash — with volume discounts above 10 units and one delivery charge for the order. Overnight service on multi-day events is quoted per visit.
Prices are starting prices for Victoria ZIPs 77901, 77904 and 77905. Towns outside Victoria add a distance-based delivery line. Same-day orders add a rush fee from $125. Texas sales tax is shown separately. Your itemized quote is the final price.
